Known Information

A teenage boy who had been living at St. Andrew's Church in Vallaki under the care of Father Lucian Petrovich. Also orphaned; has been at the church long enough to have developed resentment about it. Father Lucian describes him as temperamental — not beyond help, just bitter about his lot, which in Barovia is saying something.

He bullied Yeska, the younger altar boy — called him useless, told him no one wanted him — and in doing so inadvertently obtained the information he needed: the existence and location of the bones of St. Andrew in the church crypt.

Shortly before the party arrived at the church to speak with him, he left. He is not at the inn or in any obvious location.

A search of his room found a bag of coins — Barovian coin of the realm bearing Strahd's face. The quantity was suspicious for a boy who receives no income. Whether he sold the bones, was paid to steal them, or simply pocketed an unrelated windfall is unresolved.

He is described as brawny for his age and was helping clean up after the dawn service when the party arrived — they saw him briefly holding a shovel before he disappeared.
