Luvash

Status: Alive — leading the Vistani camp southwest of Vallaki

Known Information

Older of two Vistani brothers who run the camp outside Vallaki. Large, angry, in studded leather. When the party arrived he was applying a horse whip to Alexei, a teenager who had been responsible for watching Luvash's daughter Arabelle and had not watched her well enough. His younger brother Arigal was present and suggested Alexei had probably learned his lesson; Luvash agreed in the sense that he stopped.

His seven-year-old daughter Arabelle has been missing for more than a day. Search parties are deployed. The camp is thin on people because of this. He believes she may have gone in the direction of Lake Zarovich.

He holds a keyring at his belt containing what he calls all of his treasure, which he gestured toward while talking about wealth. He keeps things.

His patience was thin during Session 11, but he drank with "Viggo" (Merich in disguise) and opened up enough to share the Arabelle situation. He offered mist-passage potions — allowing non-Vistani to pass through the fog of Barovia — as a reward for finding Arabelle alive.

Aligned with Strahd, along with the camp's Vistani, though whether this is belief or survival calculus is unclear. The Dusk Elves are kept here partly on Strahd's behalf.
