Ivlis Crossroads

A fork in the road a few hours west of Barovia, at dusk. A wooden gallows stands at the crossing, its frayed rope dancing in a chill wind from higher ground. Opposite the gallows: a crumbling low wall, partially enclosing a small plot of fog-shrouded graves. A signpost points in three directions:

• East — Barovia (village), behind them
• Northwest — Tser Pool (and the Vistani camp)
• Southwest — Vallaki

The northwest fork descends into trees. The southwest fork clings to an uphill slope.

Notable Events

Sir Laszlo Dornick was here when the party arrived, putting down a group of zombies with quiet efficiency. He finished them and introduced himself while the party was still getting out of the cart.

Brother Moro failed a Wisdom save (6) at the gallows and saw his own corpse hanging from the beam. He climbed down and convinced himself it wasn't real on a second save (13). No one else saw what he saw.
