Blue Water Inn

A large two-story wooden building with a stone foundation and a sagging tile roof in the center of Vallaki. Several ravens have taken up permanent residence on the roof. A painted wooden sign above the entrance depicts a blue waterfall. Gray smoke issues from the chimney. It is the only inn in town.

Layout

The main entrance opens onto a portico where guests hang damp cloaks. The taproom is packed with tables and chairs with narrow paths between them. A bar stretches along one wall. A wooden staircase runs up to a balcony and the guest rooms above. A second balcony overhangs the eastern entrance. All windows are fitted with thick shutters and crossbars.

Wolf heads mounted on wooden plaques line most of the walls. The decor is consistent.

Rooms

Guest rooms are 10 silver per night. Each room contains two cozy beds with wolf-fur blankets, matching footlockers, a lamp on a table, a shuttered window, and two tall black wardrobes. Rooms lock from the inside.

Stable

Around the side of the building. Clean, well-maintained stalls. One gray mare occupies a stall belonging to another guest. A wooden ladder leads to a loft where dozens of ravens are perched on the railing. Signs in each stall direct patrons to see Irwin for the silver rate (one silver per night per horse). Sable Burrowbane stabled the party's horse here and named it Bill.

Keepers of the Feather Safehouse

Revealed in Session 9: the inn is a Keepers of the Feather operation. The master bedroom is a facade — too clean, clearly not where the family sleeps. Behind it:

Neither the strongbox nor the chest has been searched. No key found for the strongbox.
