Known Information

The third child of Gustav and Elizabeth Durst. Mentioned in Strahd's letter as "a stillborn son, cursed by darkness." In Session 2, the ghost children Rose and Thorn confirmed his existence, noting only that their mother "did not like Walter" and that he is the source of the danger in the basement.

What he is now — what form he takes, what the cult did with or to him — is unknown.
