Operated in the village of Barovia as a hunched old woman pushing a wooden cart, selling "dream pies" door to door — described as capable of making the misery of Barovia briefly stop feeling real. Price: one gold per pie.

Her actual business was collecting children as ingredients. She would trade pies through doorways, and the transaction included the household's child. The party observed her binding a child's wrists and ankles and preparing to place him in a sack. Merich and Celeste intervened. Sable returned from a strategic retreat to stand in the doorway between the hag and the child.

The party chose to fight her. Sable opened with a crossbow shot to the face. She dropped her human disguise, revealed her hag form, clawed Sable for 9 damage, and rolled a 20 on initiative. Ismark Kolyana went second and did 27 damage in one turn. She offered information in exchange for her life. The party took the information and killed her anyway.
